Detox Me Action Kit: Sample Report

In the Detox Me Action Kit study, each participant received a personalized report that they accessed through a secure website. The reports were developed using Silent Spring's Digital Exposure Report-Back Interface, or DERBI. This interactive web-based tool takes complex chemical exposure data and presents it in a way that the average person can understand. Each report includes a summary of results, including levels of chemicals found in the participant's body, information about the chemicals, health concerns, sources of exposure, and tips for reducing exposures at home and in the community. The reports also include an explanation of the study’s overall findings and allows participants to see how their levels compare with those of other participants as well as the national average.
