Sabine Oskar has over 15 years of experience in oncology research, with expertise spanning both academic and biopharmaceutical settings. Her research portfolio includes work on cancer etiology, prevention, and health outcomes. She has extensive experience designing and executing real-world evidence and non-interventional research studies, with over 25 publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Oskar is currently an Associate Director in the Value and Implementation Outcomes Research organization at Merck & Co., where she leads real-world evidence generation and outcomes research to support sustained patient access to innovative therapies and improve oncology health outcomes. Prior to her role at Merck & Co., Oskar worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, supporting clinical trials and observational studies in the Department of Breast Cancer Surgery. She later advanced to work in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care, focusing on studies related to pain management for cancer patients. Additionally, she conducted research on breast cancer risk and prevention at Columbia University and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Oskar earned a BS in Public Health from Rutgers University and holds both an MPH and PhD in Epidemiology from Columbia University.
